Welcome To Sacandaga Christian Fellowship

Welcome to our web site here at Sacandaga Christian Fellowship. We are located in Edinburg, NY about 2.5 miles up Fox Hill Rd from the Great Sacandaga Lake. This site is dedicated to furthering our ministry by providing our visitors with information about our church as well as the great news of salvation. We hope that you enjoy your time here, but please don't stop at that. Take the time to come visit us.

Sundays at SCF include our Sprouts Kids Club and Morning Service focused around heart felt worship through music and the studying of God's Word. Tuesday nights include fellowship and ministry through our barq! youth group. We are convinced that we can offer you the piece that you may find missing your life. God has placed a great responsibility on us as a church to extend to you the message of hope.


Latest News - June 16th, 2009 (NEW)
Stage 2 of SCF's renovations consists for flipping and redesigning the church's sanctuary. The new remodeled sanctuary will have a new sound/video/lighting system, baptismal, platform and elevated congregational seating layout. The seating for the sanctuary will also be updated in order to gain additional capacity. New church chairs will be put into place which will increase seating by 60 seats. We have already began raising money for the new seats with a "Buy-A-Chair" Campaign. So far over 50 chairs have been donated in or goal of 150. Welcome Center Sunday


Over 100 People Celebrate...

One Sunday, June 7th SCF celebrated the opening of our brand new Welcome Center.  Friends and family gathered to help dedicate the newly remodeled wing for our Welcome Center Sunday with Friends and Family.  Following a very emotional and uplifting service the church had dinner together and enjoyed each other's company.  The new welcome center consists of a large foyer area, nursery, office for Pastor Tim, ramped entrance to sanctuary, new stair case to the lower level and a brand new bathroom (wheel chair accessible).  The project took over 3 and half months to complete and is a standing testimony to the dedication of the people at SCF and their burden to reach the community.  We are excited about what is to follow at the church...
